Soil Sampling Instructions
Sampling Locations
Take samples from 5 locations around your garden from areas such as :

Close to your house
-
In the vegetable patch or planned area for vegetable patch
-
Where children are likely to play
How to take and store your sample
For each sample

Remove top 2cms of soil from the area you are wanting to sample.

Take a trowel full of soil.

Remove any grass or vegetation before sampling.

Put the sample in a ziplock bag and seal the bag.

Label the bag with the following (see photo)
-
Date sample was taken
-
Sample description and location (eg Veggie patch 1, 2 etc)

Name and address of house
PLACE ALL SAMPLES IN A WELL LABELED, SEALED PLASTIC BAG
Samples can either be dropped off at :
1/9 Colin Street, West Perth
or posted to :
PO Box 760, West Perth, WA 6872
